About

Phillip Alcock
CEO / AI Education Lead — PBL Future Labs (opens in a new tab)
I'm Phil. Australian, based in Acapulco. I've spent 3+ years building AI workflows in Claude Projects, Claude Skills, and Google NotebookLM — and I've packaged everything I know into this site.
I co-founded PBL Future Labs alongside Thom Markham, Ph.D. — widely recognized as "The Godfather of PBL." Together we're building the bridge between AI and Project-Based Learning, helping educators design learning experiences students actually want to engage with.
My background is in media production — photography, video editing, animation, special effects, stop motion, and content creation. That lens shapes everything I build. I think in systems, sequences, and production pipelines, and that's exactly how I approach AI workflows.
I've advised the Stanford GenAI Accelerator Project and TeachAI. I'm contributing to a Harvard emerging technologies course. I've spoken with ISTE, ASCD, and more schools and universities than I can count. I'm also the author of Transform Your Teaching With AI.
No AI slop. I promise. Everything on this site is something I've actually built, tested, broken, rebuilt, and documented.
What I'm Building Here
The AI Blueprint Store is where I'm packaging all of my workflows, prompts, and systems — everything I've built over years of working with AI tools — and making them available to you. Here's what's coming:
- Claude Skills Workflows — Student Portfolios, Gamma Designs, and more
- Homeschooling AI Workflows — Claude Skills + Projects + NotebookLM
- Image Workflows + GPTs — Custom image generation pipelines
- NotebookLM Workflows + Projects — Including workflows to build workflows
- Video Workflows — End-to-end video production with AI
- Claude Projects Workflows — Systems for research, content, and curriculum
- PBL Design & Edu Workflows — Designed alongside PBL pioneers like Thom Markham, Ph.D.
- Media & Creative AI — Photography, Video Editing, Animation, Special Effects, Stop Motion, and Content Production
I'm also deep into AI-assisted creative production — I've found some incredible animation tools using Claude Code and Remotion, and those workflows are coming too.
