Student Portfolio Skill
A Claude Skill that creates curriculum-aligned PBL materials and assesses student portfolios using evidence-based rubrics.
Version: 2.0.0 Authors: PBL Future Labs (Phillip Alcock, Marcia Powell, Dan Thomas) Framework: Learning Mission Framework + Activity vs. Learning Evidence Audit
What It Does
Creation Mode — Upload a learning mission. The skill suggests materials ranked by the Artifact Hierarchy, biased toward Level 3-5 mastery work. Select the ones you want. It builds complete, classroom-ready documents with instructions, metacognitive components, teacher notes, answer keys, and differentiation options.
Assessment Mode — Upload a student portfolio. The skill runs a full Evidence Audit, classifies every artifact, checks for cognitive gaps, and generates a defensible grade recommendation with parent/admin response scripts.
How to Use It
- Create a Claude Project
- Add the Student Portfolio SKILL.md as a knowledge file
- Add your curriculum standards documents as additional knowledge files
- Start a conversation with: "Suggest materials for this learning mission" or "Assess this student portfolio"
The skill handles the rest.
